21.04.2007. The first UN eco-building in the world

The first United Nations building which will be constructed in accordance with standards of sustainable architecture, will be built in Montenegrin capital. It will be placed near the newly built "Millennium" bridge, in the center of Podgorica. www.un-ecobuilding.info

20.03.2007. Agency for development of northern Montenegro founded

CHF Montenegro in cooperation with 13 Municipalities of northern Montenegro and Ministries of Tourism, Agriculture, Environment and Social care, have founded a regional agency for development of northern Montenegro. The name of the foundation is FORS Montenegro.

A network of non-governmental organizations from Montenegro will hold a campaign "Green is In" on 20th September. On the same day, 15 years ago, Montenegro proclaimed itself as an ecological state. Read more about the action "Green is In"!

Montenegro started advertising its tourist offer on the global network of CNN. 'Sights and sounds' of Montenegro will be broadcatsed on CNN in next four months. This will help Montenegro to promote itself as a unique destination on the global scene.

Natural beuties, rich biodiversity and a lot of animal species, make the mount of Durmitor unique place for holiday. Tourists from elsewhere enjoy the wild beauties of this mountain, which is apart from Tara Canyon and lots of lakes, prominent by its richness with different species of birds.

15.04.2006. Montenegro to emerge as 1 st fastest growing tourist economy

According to the World Travel & Tourism Council, Montenegro (10.3%) is at the top of the list of fastest growing tourist economies in the world, India is poised to emerge as the 2 nd on the list (8.8%) and China comes after India at 8.7%.
